Continuing to show that he doesn't comprehend many words in the English language, King Ned dropped this one last night:
Asked whether he was frustrated that his offense continues to score a few runs early in the game only to go all tail-between-the-legs in the later innings, King Ned wouldn't bite:
"It's not a trend," decreed His Highness.
Here's my question: does he think we're not watching the games? Does he think the only way we learn about the team is through his quotes? My God, you watch this team for three games, and you know it's a bar-league softball team. We hit home runs. We strike out a ton. We don't walk. That's who we are. Everybody else knows it, Ned. Come to terms with it.
