Official Prediction Thread!!

Phillies in 5. CC will finally run out of gas and lose a game. Our struggling bats will be our undoing. One caveat: If we win tomorrow, we'll win the series. Don't have time for more, but I really want to hear everyone else's thoughts.

i'd love to pick the Brewers but I'm going with the Phillies in 5. but I agree with you, if we get one in Philly we'll have a shot. miller park will be rocking on Saturday which hopefully leads to a series clinching game Sunday.

After the shock of seeing Gallardo as the Game 1 starter wore off, I was pretty excited about it. He's a major talent and if we're going to rely on him to be the ace of our future we should throw him into the spotlight now. With the game 3 pitcher TBD, I'd like to see Gallardo go deep and have a potential two-headed monster of Bush/McClung available.

To answer the question, agreed. If Gallardo can manage a win in game 1, then we have CC followed by a properly rested Bush/McClung, I think we win the series.

No clue. We could be swept, sweep them, lose in 5, win in 5, and I would have to shrug and say: "OK."

The fucking Brewers just won 6 of 7 -- with THREE game-winning homers in the last at-bat -- to make the playoffs. A pitcher who, as of a couple months ago, didn't have a fucking ACL is pitching in Game 1. CC has pitched on three days rest three times in a row to save the season. Our 34-year-old catcher has STARTED over 145 games this year and still came up huge in the last series. Even Rickie Weeks hit a crucial home run in the last week of the season.

In sum: up is down, down is up. I have no fucking idea what is going to happen in the next week.

I'm psyched about Yovani starting. Bold move. I really hope our bats wake up. I hope that Hart got really wasted and went to a strip club and is now relaxed and tears the cover off the ball. Maybe then he can be a man again.

If we win game one and give CC two chances to help us, that is huge. I'd rather win it in 4, but that is a pipe dream.

3:00 pm your time. That means not a lot of work happening Wednesday afternoon starting around 2 in Milwaukee.

I guess that's what we get for being a small market. F the Cubs and their popularity! I hope Man-Ram hits 8 home runs against them and goofs off in the outfield while kicking their a**.
