Roadie again

So what's everyone's thoughts on the Kentucky Mecca road trip? Yes, No chance, Maybe? I definitely want to do the Marquette/Louisville game (last year in that arena). The Rupp Arena detour was just a thought and I'd be willing if others want to as well. I just would like to get a head count so I can keep my eye out for ticket deals over the next few months, or just snag what we need right away if a number of us are definitely in.

Can't. We're going to Arizona for spring training in March.

I'm in. The Kentucky trip would be cool, but might be tough (or too expensive to pull off). We do have a batchelor party close to that time too. Not sure who it is for.

In, for sure. We should do the KY thing too.

I would love to do the KY thing (in more than one way) but with the pending bachelor party in March, I don't think I could swing all of that. It will be tight (that's what she said) just doing the Louisville thing in addition to the bachelor party. I'm just a Caveman... I mean Catholic school teacher. I also own a Lumina. We know those are big bucks. I think tickets to KY will be ridiculously expensive. If we get them on the cheap, cool.

Also, the word verification was actually a word this time. Exciting.

Well, the march Bach-party isn't set in stone yet as a # of people may not be able to swing it. So if that's not the case it would likely be memorial day weekend (again). That would give you an xtra 2 months to save cash money.

And aside from the Marq./UofL tix, I don't foresee that weekend being overly expensive with carpooling and crashing at my place for 1 night. Unless you go apeshit at Sonic/Skyline which isn't unfathomable.

Furthermore, if a couple of personas don't want to spend $ on the UK tix (yes they will likely be pricey), I'm sure there are a couple of fine establishments nearby that they can hang out at while the others go to the game. Hek, go to the UK library and hit on some Coeds during the game (I hear the femininas are ridiculously beautiful there). I think that while its not a once in a lifetime opportunity, I think that being in kentucky during hoops season is a great excuse to take a detour and check out a game in Lexington. It's definitely a top 10 collegiate must in my book and maybe a top 5.

Couldn't have said it better myself E. We have to hope that the KY goes in the shitter so it's easy to get in and take advantage of the opening.
For my previous post, the word verfication word was Vived, which is Phil's most favorite brand of pron.

Grg, did you find anything out from that coworker of yours that went to UK?

I know it probably won't be too expensive and if the bachelor happens on memorial day weekend that really makes it easier. I would love to go because I'm sure it's awesome. I should be set on Sonic by then since one is set to open here in January (i'm already camping out) but skyline will be much needed.

I'm off to the north to get ready for deer hunting. Have fun at midnight madness and try to snag me and e$ a shirt if possible.

I have put out my KY feelers. I'll see what Carl can score us. I said to look for 4 tickets.

KY feelers? Why am I picturing Grgg as some sort of Octo-creature with 4 limbs an 4 penises all needing to be lubed-up?

Still working on my Kentucky connection, but there's a possibility to get 2 or 4 that way. How many people are in? E, Phil, Chayce, Gregg and Scott? We could really use a 6th...
KY tickets are selling for $100 a piece in the upper upper reaches of Rupp. Not terrible considering how early we are. Would folks be will to drop $100 for a KY game?

Devil's Threesome said...

Just to clarify, the $100/game is the price on eBay, I'm sure the tickets through my KY connection would be cheaper.

Devil's Threesome said...

Just checked on UL tickets and they are EXPENSIVE! But, there are 6 tickets available - two separate sales - that are located next to each other. They are crappy as hell - 2nd to last row of the stadium - but we'd have six seats together for $100 total. That way, we could all sit together and make some noise. Thoughts?

Devil's Threesome said...

Ok, I can't type today, that price is $100/ticket.

I figured a bill for the Marquette game, so that's fine with me. And I'd be willing to do another bill on the UK/LSU game as well. Should we pull the trigger now or wait? We don't even have our season tickets yet, so that may be the case for Louisville and Kentucky as well. That being said, I'm sure more tickets will become available as the season gets under way and we therefore would likely be able to get better seats and they may be a bit cheaper as well. But whatever you guys want to do. If you'd rather secure tix right away that's fine too.
