Fantasy Football Poll

So I'm looking for some expert opinions on who I should start in my work league. We start 2 WR's and 2 RB's. My choices are.....

RB: Brian Westbrook (at Wash), Steven Jackson (vs SF), Marshawn Lynch (at Den), Steve Slaton (at Oak). I also have Lendale White but I'm not going to start him against Pittsburgh.

The espn experts have Steve Slaton ranked #2 overall this week behind Adrian Peterson. And they also have both Lynch and S.Jax ahead of Westbrook.

WR: TJ Houshmandzadeh (at Cle), Dwayne Bowe (vs Mia), Jericho Cotchery (at Sea), and Lance Moore (at Det).

I didn't even look at the expert rankings here considering they all pretty much suck.

Slaton is probably a must-start, and I'm going to vote for Westbrook, too. The Good Ship Redskin has run aground, and, even though it's a divisional game, I don't think Jackson or Lynch is a better option.

The receivers are a mess. I'd stay away from Bowe, since the Fins haven't given up a touchdown in three games. And I'd stay away from Cotchery -- cold weather + Holmgren fucking with his head wouldn't seem to be a good recipe for Favre (last season's result in the NFC divisional game notwithstanding). Housh and Moore, I guess, but I'm not thrilled about it.

I'd like to start out by saying that this is one helluva dilemma to have. Can I get in this league?

That being said, I'd have to strongly consider Slaton since the Raiders are the worst rush defense in the NFL (Note: the Lions are worse, but I don't believe they qualify as "in the NFL", they're like NFDL.) I might go with Lynch as well because the Broncos are quite sieve like as well, and he had a good game against a far tougher defense last week.

As for receivers, you gotta like anyone against the Lions. As for the other one, conventional wisdom would point to Cotchery, with Seattle being worst in the league against the pass and 26th in scoring, but Rubes has a point about Favre. You never know what you'll get there. Housh had a rough one last week but was fairly productive in blowouts the 2 weeks prior (65-75 yds.) So the numbers seem to say Cotchery and Moore, but my gut says Housh and Moore... and it's also hungry. The other thing about Moore is he hasn't had more than 35 yds in the last 3 weeks, but did get a TD.

Yeah, I kind of like the matchup that Lynch has.....with the QB issues they are having Lynch is going to get the ball a lot. However, while he has a lot of TD's, he doesn't rush for a ton of yards and doesn't catch the ball out of the backfield.

Philly has been hot of late, and Westbrook is the type of RB that could easily have 150+ total yards and 3 TD's, so I would hate to see that with him on the bench. So I think Westbrook is in due to the highest upside.
