What a douche...

I have stuck up for Todd Welter before because I know him. I will not stick up for him anymore. Read this and try not to punch or choke the closest thing next to you. It was a good thing my students were at phy. ed. when I read this.

Everyone send him a message and let him know he should have his MU degree taken away from him.

Complete douchebag!

Locally, everyone treats the trio as if they were the Fab5 coming in. Were they good? Yes. But I don't think that they were even ranked in the top 10 for recruiting classes. I'm sure that if I looked back at all of the ranked classes that year, that we could find a handful that didn't perform even as good as these guys. Hek, off the top of my head, Syracuse gets McDonald All-Americans and consistently has highly ranked recruiting classes and they didn't even make the NCAA tournament the last 2 years.

Should we really be surprised by such an article? We see garbage like this written about our teams on what seems to be a weekly basis. They can all eat sh*t as far as I'm concerned. Sure we all are disappointed in our March performances. So are 63 other teams every year. It's convenient when articles like this are written, that they conveniently forget to include injuries, freak performances, and the fact that 3 out of the 4 losses went down to the last possession. I for one am grateful for what we have now after witnessing the late Mike Deane/early Tom Crean eras.

Joe Krabbenhoft was a 4 star recruit. He finished the game with 0 points yesterday. Anyone ripping him?

To be fair: I was. But I was all by myself.

Actually, Krabby was a Rivals 5 star recruit. His career high was 16 points. I love how if a guy fails to meet expectations for UW, they just weren't that talented to begin with (read: Butch, Stiesma), but any MU recruit is a "waste."

D3/Rub: Krabbenhoft's talent isn't measured by numbers. It's all about the intangibles: toughness, defensive awareness, A HIGH BASKETBALL IQ. He could score 20+ a game if he took as many shots as those selfish MU players, but he shares the ball.
(Disclaimer: That's the politically correct answer that is always given when talking Badger basketball. When did their program suddenly deserve "minority" treatment?)

HA! Burke can do all of those same things except I think Burke actually scored in his second round game......and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe rivals gave Burke any stars coming out of high school. He was star-challenged.
