So, who's planning to head to the Rosemont Horizon to view the steaming crater that Old Gill/Jerry Wainright/Paul Gleason left for the Blue Demons on Wednesday? I'm trying to round up a car pool crew. I know that Reid is in, and I believe that SBTG is in as well. We all know that Sheets' Va Jay Jay has sand in his va jay jay and can't go, but are there any other takers? Also, what's the over/under on announced attendance? I'd say 8,500, with about 3k in the stands. 250 students, max.

D3-I'm in and I have your ticket. Reid and I briefly discussed a plan for Wednesday. Let's just pick a time to leave the College Ave park and ride. I don't have a preference for what time but tip is 8 pm. I can drive if Reid doesn't want too.
5:30-5:45 work? I believe there's still construction on 94. Is the College Ave Park & Ride open?
i have to admit it took me a while to figure out what the 3rd picture was all about...but that's the steaming crater that is DePaul bball.
that time works for me...not sure about what Reid's schedule is. do we have a pre-game meeting place at all, maybe that sportsbar in the hotel across the freeway?
yes the college ave project is all complete...thank God.
and I don't believe there is a ton of construction this time of year between MKE and O'Hare so we should be okay from a traffic standpoint.
Isn't D-3 the level of college ball played by DePaul?
I drive from Chicago to Hoffman Estates every day for work. If you avoid rush hour you'll be fine, (which starts around 3 and peters out around 7). Otherwise you'll probably be kind of miserable.
I think Depaul's goal is to drive away so many fans that they can just play in their on-campus gym. They're only about 5,000 away.
Hey! Depaul Sucks! That all sounds good to me boys. I'm driving.

Player to keep an eye on: Marquette has one of the most explosive and dynamic scoring guards in the country in Darius Johnson-Odom. The 6-foot-2 lefty guard shoots well, is very athletic and really attacks the rim. On Sunday against Providence, Johnson-Odom scored 20 points in the first half and showed some great individual moves to get into the paint. Johnson-Odom was recruited by Tennessee and Kentucky out of Hutchinson Community College but chose instead to attend Marquette because of the void left at the guard spot with the departures of Wesley Matthews, Jerel McNeal and Dominic James. Johnson-Odom can get his own shot, and he is averaging 12 points and 53 percent from 3-point range.
Do you know if this blog is pager friendly?

Mr. Sparkle? Is that you?
Waaazzzzzzzooooo
Ha! Rub, I was going to say the same thing.
Regarding the 3rd pic the STG couldn't figure out....I thought it was a closeup of Jenna Jameson's a$$ after one of her latest productions.
I suggest we make a requirement of at least Latin based languages used on the blog. I am really not up-to-date with my phonetic transcriptions and writing symbols within the continent of Asian.
Or my ass in Madrid.
That wasn't my sparkle. It may have been one of my contacts at Matsumura Fishworks or Tamaribuchi Heavy Manufacturing Concern.
As for your concerns about construction/traffic, the last time I made the trek the roads on the IL side of the border were fine.
I don't know, but if that guy's selling fireworks I'm totally in.
Asian Dude - you got any Saturn Missiles?
It'll be our new tagline:

Let's make it a little more remote than Japan, perhaps Manchuria or Mongolia.

Google translation- Chinese to English. I'm really not sure what to make of it?!?!?!!?
No problem, fishbulb.
Regardless, I am guessing it's some sort of Confucian ideology that our friend from China is attempting to peddle to us Jarhead's from America.
