SUPER BOWL MONDAY! GO TWEET YO ASS OFF!!

Are you ready for some football? O wait, we have to wait six more days, crap. So much to talk about this week, let me see, the pinball selects Photo-TwitterGate 2011. Um, Nick Barnett, step away from the cell phone, repeat, step away from the cell phone down! Honestly, you haven't played for months and now you want go and jack up a couple of great weeks in Packers history, because you want to be in team photo, STUPID JAG MOVE. Anyway, plenty of great stories to come especially the ones about Michael Irvin reopening the WhiteHouse this week for former Cowboy offensive tackle Flozell Adams...get some, make it rain!!

Is it just me or is Pittsburgh getting way more play in the media? Even after GB's victory last week, it wasn't "Wow, GB looks impressive winning 3 consecutive road games as a 6 seed to get to Dallas". Nope, instead GB's win is overshadowed by the Jay Cutler incident. Now, it's all about Roethlisberger, and how he's no longer the guy that walks around in public with his dick in his hand, and how he's in the "greatest quarterback in history discussion" if he wins this game. Or it's discussing how the Steelers have "been here before" and they're a veteran squad that has 30 players with SB experience, versus GB which has 2.

Whatev. Hopefully we give them a great big shitburger to eat on Sunday.

I dunno, E. I'm hearing a lot of talking head-types picking the Packers.

I agree Rub, many are picking Green Bay. But when I've watched SportsCenter the past 3-5 days, I would say the coverage is 2/3 Pittsburgh....that's all. Not saying we're not getting respect it's more of stories about the team. And it's possible I'm just missing segments as I'm not catching every minute of Sportscenter 4x's/day.

Just watched Mike Tomlin act all that and a bag of potato chips in front of his first media engagement in Dallas. I know the guy is young and arrogant, a Super Bowl champion in his own right, but could he drop any more tough guy one liners about his team going into this big game. Money, clearly Pittsburgh is playing this we've been there done that mantra like a fiddle for this Super Bowl and quite frankly as you stated, it's getting old already. My feeling similar to yours, is they will be eating the peanuts out of ARodg's shit come Sunday night...

Yup. Last night both Tomlin and Roethlisberger were asked if they had an advantage since they've been there 2 times already, and both replied very similarly, "Our experience definitely gives us an advantage". Big Ben went on to say, "When you get off the airplane, there's helicopters flying around you, and police/media everywhere. It's alot to take in, but we've already been through all this". Total doucher!
